Hello North Star students and parents. I am sending out a message to girls that will be in grades 7-12 for the 2024-2025 school year that are interested in participating in golf in the fall. If you are interested, please reach out to Chad Staus to let him know your interest. You can reach him at 701-238-4186 or email at cstaus@gmail.com. Coach Staus would like to schedule a time next week to meet with the parents and students to provide more information and expectations for the upcoming golf season. Golf practice starts August 5th.
Annabelle is in the top 10 in the nation for her Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 2 at the National FCCLA competition in Seattle! Congratulations Annabelle!
The North Star School office will be closed on July 4 and July 5 in observance of the holiday. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July everyone.
We will also be working on the gym floor from July 9-July 15. Please do not walk on the floor or enter the gym during that time. Thank you in advance.

The North Star School (track) received a donation from the North Dakota Telephone Company Dollars in Motion program. The funds will be used towards the purchase of a timing system for the track . We would like to thank NDTC for their donation.
By request we will have a few slots available for Open Track. This is for 2024-2025 7th - 12th grade athletes interested in high jump, long jump, and hurdles. Meet in the gym!

The 2024 North Star Scholarship Golf Tournament is tomorrow June 8 at the Cando Golf Course. Come join us for registration at Noon and golf at 1:00. 2-person scramble format with snacks, and dinner and prizes to follow. All proceeds go toward scholarships for graduating seniors. After a couple of days of some tough conditions at the State Class B golf tournament, the North Star Boys placed 6th.
It is not too late to join us at this year's golf tournament! June 8th at the Cando Golf Club.

Update on the State Boys golf Tournament for Thursday June 6th at Carrington. The meet will start at 7:30 am.
The approved format by NDHSAA for tomorrow will be 12 Holes.
Playing Holes 7-18.
Hole 7 will be the Starting Hole!
The 6 Green is available as an additional putting green!
Holes 7,8,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 will play in their original form.
Report Cards are ready to be picked up at the North Star School. If you have any outstanding balances or fees needing to be paid from the past year you can pay with Tammie in the office. North Star summer hours will be from 8:30-3:30.
