A volleyball player/parent meeting for grades 7-12 is scheduled for Sunday, August 18th, at 7:00 pm in the lunchroom. Players must complete their physicals to participate in the first practice, which begins on Monday, August 19th. There are physical forms along with the concussion fact sheet in the high school.

A reminder that there will be a Football Parent meeting tonight starting at 5:30 in the North Star lunchroom. The Lake Region SWAT Team will be conducting a training exercise tonight Thursday, July 25th at approximately 6pm at the North Star High School.
The training is to familiarize the SWAT team's knowledge of the local area as well as response to various events.
This is ONLY A TRAINING and it WILL ONLY BE INSIDE OF THE SCHOOL. The school will be closed to the public during this training. Please do not enter the school, and, if you need to, contact Lt. Juarez with the Towner County Sheriff's Office for arrangements during that time.

Cando is hosting the American Legion District Tournament and is looking for volunteers.
There are still slots open for tickets, concessions, and grilling. Please consider signing up to help out with this event.

North Star Gym will be closed for the remainder of the week, until July 22, due to high humidity and slow drying time on the wax. We have noticed areas where the wax has not yet dried, and we want to make sure the floor is in top shape for events throughout the school year.
