Parents/ Guardians, we would like you to be aware that there have been a few cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth in the school. Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is a common illness that usually causes fever, mouth sores, and skin rash. It can spread quickly in school settings. Please watch your child for any signs or symptoms that may arise. If your child does have HFMD, we please ask that they stay home until they are fever free for 24hr, no new spots in the last 24hrs and spots have started to crust over. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the school nurse or Towner County Public Health (968-4353).

North Star Honor Roll for students in Grades 7-12.
The eight grade had finished learning about local government in Our State and went on a tour of the Towner County Courthouse in Cando. They were able to see the many departments of the courthouse and have a description of the jobs there. They also viewed the old county jail while visiting. A special thanks to the staff of the courthouse and the sheriff's department for the tour.
Thanks to the 70+ students and adults who attended the Pizza and Puzzle Night sponsored by SADD and the Cando Community Library.
