We want to inform you that students in 7th & 8th grade will be participating in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) on April 9, and students in grades 9-12 will take the survey on April 11. The YRBS is a voluntary and anonymous survey developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to assess health-related behaviors among youth. The survey covers topics such as nutrition, physical activity, substance use, mental health, and other factors that may impact student well-being. The results help schools and communities develop programs that support student health and safety. If you would like to review the survey or have any questions, please contact Eric Nygaard at 968-4416 or email at eric.nygaard@k12.nd.us. Parents have the right to opt their child out of the survey if they choose. If you do not want your child to participate, please notify the school by April 8th, 2025. Thank you for your support in helping us gather valuable information to enhance student wellness initiatives.
