Here are some dates to get on your calendar. Registration for the 2022-23 school year will be on August 9th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (more information to follow). Students planning on participating in extra-curricular activities must have a physical before they are allowed to participate. Physical forms may be picked up at the school and students are encouraged to get their physicals in the month of July. Fall activity practices will begin on the following dates: Girls' Golf August 1st, Football August 4th, Volleyball August 15th, and Pee Wee Girls Basketball August 15th. We are in the process of cleaning out storage areas and we have items that will be tossed tomorrow late afternoon. The items that will be tossed are in the main lobby and in the basement. If you are interested in any of the items stop by the main office and someone will show you the items to be tossed. Items will be thrown late tomorrow afternoon so stop by before then if interested. FCCLA Events Tomorrow!
A reminder that the North Star Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday with registration beginning at 12:00 PM and the tournament starting at 1:00 PM. You may preregister by calling the school. Thank you.

Congratulations to the track participants for their fine performances at the State Track Meet. The girls 4x100 Relay ran a 53.39 which is a new school record. Reuben also set the shot put and discus records this season!

This is a message from the North Star School. There will be a golf team send off for the state tournament on Monday at 9:00 AM in front of the school. There will be a baseball team send off in front of the school on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. There will be a Lasagna Free Will Offering Meal at the North Star Lunchroom on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. At this time, we do not know what time the baseball team will play next Thursday. We are hoping to find that out early tomorrow. Thank you.
Good evening. We would like to thank all the volunteers that helped with the region baseball tournament. Hosting tournaments are rewarding and are not possible without all the help we received. Thank you very much! Congratulations to the baseball team for winning the region baseball tournament and qualifying for the state baseball tournament starting next Thursday in Fargo. Prior to that tournament we have students competing in the state track meet in Bismarck beginning on Friday and next Tuesday and Wednesday we have students competing in the state golf tournament in Fargo. It is a great time to be a Bearcat. Congratulations to all our student athletes on their much-earned success and good luck at your state tournaments.
This is a message from the North Star School. The baseball tournament will be back in Cando tomorrow. There will be games at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM with North Star playing at 5:00 PM. We need one ticket taker from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and two ticket takers from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. If you are able to help, please send me a text or give me a call. This is a message from the North Star School. The region baseball tournament for tomorrow has been moved to Rugby. North Star will play at 3:00 PM. We are hopeful that if it ever stops raining that the tournament will be moved back to Cando on Wednesday. We are still in charge of managing the tournament, but we do not expect those that are signed up to take tickets to drive to Rugby to take tickets. We do not have to worry about concessions tomorrow. If you can help out and sell tickets tomorrow let me know. Time slots are 10 to 12; 12 to 2; 2 to 4; and 4 to approximately 5:30. You may call or text my cell number at 701-351-0402.
