With the forecast for more snow and wind, the fact that roads are still closed or in poor shape, and we are prepared for distance learning we will distance learn again tomorrow. Reports we have heard is that it went pretty well today. We will see everyone back in school on Tuesday and hopefully finish the year in school. Thank you.

We will dismiss school today at 12:30 PM. If we do not have a significant amount of snow at that time we will run buses. After school daycare will run until 1:30 PM. No afternoon Pre-School. There will be an alert early this evening about tomorrow.

This is a message from the North Star School. With the latest forecast now predicting the snow to start shortly after lunch, our current plan is as follows: Start school on time and run buses. Our goal will be to make it to at least 12:30 PM. That dismissal time will allow us to feed our students both breakfast and lunch, finalize distant learning plans for Wednesday and Thursday, and also have our students in school where they are most successful. Students that brought devices home today do not bring them back tomorrow. Students that have packets for Wednesday and Thursday do not bring them back tomorrow. If you live out of town and have concerns you may keep your child home, but please call the school in the morning so we are not looking for your child, they will not be counted absent if you live out of town and call the school. We will be up early checking the forecast and if the forecast has changed so the snow will be coming earlier or if it has already started to snow, this plan will be changed. Thank you and enjoy the beautiful evening.

This is a message from the North Star School. Teachers have been working hard today to prepare our students for Distance Learning. With the current forecast there is a strong possibility that in person learning will be canceled sometime this week. Your child has been given materials to bring home tonight for distance learning. We are hoping that we will be able to have at least part of a in person school day tomorrow but with each updated forecast, that is looking less likely. Stayed tune for further updates and if you have any questions contact the school. Thank you.

The North Star School would like to get rid of some weight equipment. We have 2 weight benches, one incline bench and a leg press. The weights and bar in the pictures do not come with the benches. We did not get a picture of the leg press machine before we took it apart. Please call the school and make an offer for one or all of the equipment.

Elementary parents - please make sure your children are dressed for the spring weather. All students in grades K-2 go outside three times a day. Students in grades 3-5 go out at least once a day. They need to have warm jackets and hats when it is cold! Thank you!

Presentation of colors by Air Force and Star Spangled Banner by robotics choir at Opening Ceremonies this morning. Our opposing alliances this morning are ranked quite high, and our partner teams are in the lower tier, so we are looking for some valuable driving experience for our rookie members today. GO FIRST!
