As we start to think about the upcoming Fall Sports Season here are a few reminders and dates to keep in mind for your respective sports.
A medical physical is required each year to participate in a school sponsored sport. The physical and concussion forms must be turned into the office or coach in order to practice. 9 practices are required in order to play in a game or contest.

2023-2024 School Registration for PK-12 grade students will take place on Monday, August 7 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Prior to August 7th, all parents need to fill out the online registration form for each of your students. It can be found on the school's website.
All parents need to come to the school that day to sign Technology Agreements, fill out Free-Reduced meal forms, and pay fees.
Parents of new students and pre-school students need to bring copies of student's birth certificates and immunization records.
7th - 12th grade students register at the following times:
9:00 AM- 9:30 AM 7th - 12th grade FB players
9:30 AM - 10:15 AM Seniors
10:15 AM- 11:00 AM Juniors
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM Sophomores
11:45 AM - 12:30 PM Freshman

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Anyone who cannot register during their assigned time.

Football equipment handout for VARSITY players will be August 1st from 5-6pm. Varsity football practice will begin August 3rd at 7am. JH football practice will begin August 10th at 7 am, they will get their equipment that day. There will be a parent coach meeting for ALL football players August 3rd at 6pm in the North Star lunch room. Reminder to all players to get physicals, concussion forms and activities dues paid prior to practice starting! GO BEARCATS!

Mrs. Ramey is among 35 educators nationwide selected to participate in a NASA-in-the-Classroom DEIA-focused PD workshop at the John's Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. She will be participating in hands-on STEM activities and explore NASA and John's Hopkins STEM lessons. Participants will also work to help make STEM lessons more inclusive and accessible using the principle of Universal Design. Stay tuned for more photos!

Parents:
You may be eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for your school-aged children this summer. Children who received free or reduced-price lunch through the National School Lunch Program and were attending school at the end of the 22-23 school year. If your children are not currently eligible but might be for the 2023-2024 school year, you are encouraged to complete the P-EBT application and submit a Free/Reduced-Price application by August 25, 2023. Contact the school where your children will be attending for an application form.
This year parents/guardians must complete an application to receive Summer P-EBT. The application can be completed online at https://ndsummerebt.nd.gov/
