American Red Cross Babysitting Course


JH Track Meet in Bottineau tomorrow will start at 1:30 PM, with the bus leaving at 11:45 PM. Thank you.

The baseball games scheduled for today have been cancelled.

JH Art/STEM class made toothpick bridges and attempted Pringles rings. Miles and Danika's bridge held 315 pounds! Kole and Anna had the best pringles ring.









Reuben qualified for the State Track meet in the shot put. He threw 47 feet (school record) at the Stanley Blue Jay Meet. He also set the school record in the javelin with a throw of 144 feet 3 inches. Congratulations!


Mr. Vote received a knife with the Homeland Security Logo on it as a thank you from the Border Patrol. He helped them with a formula in their excel spreadsheet that they use for funding purposes. Border Patrol Agent Puppe said it will save them countless hours.



We had a great time in Bismarck at the state honor society conference! Alliana sang the national anthem and presented our scrapbook with our chapter's achievements from the past year and Bryce helped run many aspects of the conference as the state vice president.





The Elementary Music Concert will be held May 2, 2023 in the North Star Gym. Students should report to school by 6:45 p.m. Students K-3 will meet in their classrooms. Students in grades 4-6 will gather in the band/choir room.
The band will perform at 7 p.m. with K-3 choir following at 7:25 p.m. Grade 4-6 choir will perform at 7:45 p.m.
Concert dress is Spring and bright colors - spring dresses, or dress shirt with dark/Khaki pants or dark jeans.


Mrs. Svir is collecting gently used bearcat clothing again!


What do you do when you have student's who like to fish? Have a fish fry of course! This group had a fun time experimenting with different breading and spices. Yum! 🎣😋







Miss MCTAGGART's 3rd graders set up shop in Mrs. Swanson's 8th grade Our State class and sold their paper goods(airplanes and bookmarks). They all learned a lesson on marketing, profit, and scarcity. 📈💵

The North Star Prom is scheduled for tomorrow evening. The doors will open at 7:30 PM with the Grand March to follow at 8:00 PM. We are using both sides of the bleachers for spectators, so there will be plenty of seating.

Congratulations to the Academic Letter-winners for the 2022-23 school year. The criteria to receive an Academic Letter is as follows: A student must be on the A or B Honor Roll the first three quarters and a student must have an 8.0 gpa or higher the first three quarters.
