Fall Activity Schedules have been posted on the school website at www.northstar.k12.nd.us, click on Menu and choose activities to see the fall schedules for volleyball and football. Girls Golf and 5th & 6th Grade GBB will be updated once a schedule has been created. Practice schedules will also be updated before the start dates of each activity.

Attention North Star families! School registration is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. ALL parents of students in K-12 need to attend this day! Preschool parents, please fill out the attached registration form, and you do not need to attend.
The following are required for school registration each year:
1. Online registration form for each child. (This should be completed before registration day.)
2. Signed technology agreement for each child.
3. Fees paid in the office.
4. Birth certificate and updated immunization record (if school does not have one).
5. Free/reduced lunch paperwork.
6. Elementary daycare registration, if attending.
7. Updated medication administration forms, if school personnel administer.

North Star Gym will be closed for the remainder of the week, until July 22, due to high humidity and slow drying time on the wax. We have noticed areas where the wax has not yet dried, and we want to make sure the floor is in top shape for events throughout the school year.

Cando is hosting the District 3 Legion Tournament. We need a lot of volunteers to help make this tournament successful. Hello North Star students and parents. I am sending out a message to girls that will be in grades 7-12 for the 2024-2025 school year that are interested in participating in golf in the fall. Coach Staus would like to schedule a time next week to meet with the parents and students to provide more information and expectations for the upcoming golf season. Golf practice starts August 5th.
Annabelle is in the top 10 in the nation for her Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 2 at the National FCCLA competition in Seattle! Congratulations Annabelle!
The North Star School office will be closed on July 4 and July 5 in observance of the holiday. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July everyone.

The North Star School (track) received a donation from the North Dakota Telephone Company Dollars in Motion program. The funds will be used towards the purchase of a timing system for the track . We would like to thank NDTC for their donation.
