Our newsletter students have been working hard. The December newsletter is ready with lots of activities during this bustling holiday season! https://sway.cloud.microsoft/8NHKjqjQ0mX31bm9?ref=Link
Due to visibility issues on our rural roads this morning, North Star School will have a 2 hour late start today, Wednesday December 4, 2024. Doors will open at 10:10 with classes starting at 10:38. There will be no AM Pre-School and no breakfast served today. Please be careful driving in open areas, especially North/South roads in the area.
Be advised: A Winter Storm Watch is in effect Tuesday, December 3, 2024 through Wednesday, December 4, 2024 for the potential of seeing blizzard conditions within eastern North Dakota and the Red River Valley. Blowing snow will impact the region late Tuesday night through Wednesday with significantly reduced visibility, including a 60% chance for blizzard conditions. Uncertainty remains on severity and location of blowing snow impacts. Because of this watch, we MIGHT need to call a 2-hour late start for Wednesday, December 4. If a “No Travel Advised” is issued for our area, or our visibility is too compromised, we MIGHT need to call a Virtual Instruction Day. At this time, it is BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 4, but that could change as the system ramps up or not. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

1st grade students read the book "Turkey Trouble" and worked with their families at home to create imaginative turkey disguises to help their turkeys avoid becoming Thanksgiving dinner. They turned out awesome!
