This is a message from the NS School. We will go ahead with our 10:30 AM start. Buses will travel on pavement and into Bisbee and Egeland only. Your bus driver will make arrangements with you for a pickup spot and time, or you may contact them. School does not start until 10:30 AM and we do not want students here before 10:15 AM. Thank you.
This is a message from the North Star School. We are planning on going with a 10:30 AM start tomorrow morning. Because of this late of a start there will be no morning Pre-School. There will not be morning Daycare or Breakfast. If we can run buses, they will be 2 hours later than they normally are. If we are not able to run buses or not able to have school tomorrow those decisions more than likely will be made at daylight. Thank you.
We will dismiss school at 2:00 PM today in an attempt to get everyone home in daylight. All after school activities are canceled for tonight. We will run After School Daycare but we would like parents to pick up their child ASAP and we do not want to run daycare past 4:00 PM.
The GBB scheduled for tonight has been postponed. No makeup date has been scheduled at this point.
GBB on Tuesday January 4th will only be one game starting at 6:00 PM.
The North Star School will host the district tournament on Feb 11, 12, and 14. We will need some help in order to have a successful tournament. We need ticket takers, hospitality room hosts, lunchroom workers, and people to bring bars. The North Star Scholarship group is in charge of the concession/lunchroom so all the profits from that will go to NS students for college scholarships. Contact the school if you are able to help out. The Elementary Christmas Program is scheduled to be on the NFHS Network tonight at 7:00 PM.

North Star Tech Ed students have been busy working on wood projects.
Due to a Professional Development conflict there is a change to the calendar in January. We will have school on January 17th but we will not have school on January 21st. Teachers will have PD on January 21st. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you.

SADD Members had a busy week. They helped the after school daycare kids make a reindeer craft, put together candy houses for first grade, packed Christmas food boxes, and went bowling!

Please use this link if you are planning on having someone Covid tested at the North School. It saves a lot of time if you can register ahead of time and once you have registered for a North Star Event you will not have to do so again.

Also if you do come for testing in the morning, please do not park in front of the school where the buses drop off students.
Due to the rough weather conditions, we will start school at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6. No breakfast and no morning daycare. Buses will run as they do on our PD late starts.
