The North Star Bearcats Football finished off the regular season with an impressive win 54-12 over the Larimore Polar Bears. The Bearcats will travel to Lamoure for the 1st round in the 9 Man Football playoffs. Start time for the game will be 1:00 on Saturday, October 21st. #wearenorthstar
Pink Out Night is on Tuesday, October 17. Nineteen North Star students' "pink" art was selected for small blank cards. Four packs of 10 will be available to bid on that evening. Proceeds will be divided between the Towner County Medical Center Cancer Fund and the Hatton Northwood Volleyball Team.
Mrs. Olsen's speech class had fun doing impromptu demonstration speeches, including how to floss, build a human pyramid, and hit the griddy.
We hope that everyone will have a chance to attend the first home game of 2023 season. We anticipate a big crowd and want to give some directions to help make it a great opening night for the new field.
Areas will be roped off around the field. The east entrance will be used to enter the field and we ask that spectators remain on the track throughout the game. There will be seating on both sides of the field for fans to sit. You may move around the field but we ask that you stay on the track. The baseball field was recently sodded and there will not be anyone allowed on the field including the outfield and infield areas. Keep in mind there is still construction going on to the north of the field. Parents please make sure your child(ren) are remaining safe throughout the game. There are some parking spaces available at the school parking lot (south side of school), bus barn and side streets. The game will not be televised on the NFHS network as it has not been installed. If you plan to attend please cheer for the Bearcats in a positive way. #wearenorthstar
Reminder for ALL Bearcats: There will be a LATE START tomorrow, Wednesday, October 11. School will begin at 10:00.
Pee Wee Boys Basketball will have their first practice starting today at 5:30 pm at the High School. You can access the weekly schedule from the North Star Website and click on announcements for October 9-13 for the rest of the weeks practice sites and times.

North Star football defeats Four Winds 54-36. The Bearcats secure a playoff spot and improve to 5-2. North Star will host Larimore next week and will be playing the first game on the newly renovated field and will celebrate the Senior class along with their parents.

Pink Out Night is October 17th! There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a pumpkin walk. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the TCMC Cancer Fund and Hatton-Northwood Volleyball team. We hope to see you there!
