Dane Hagler was presented North Dakota Associates Press Sportscasters certificates for being named to the All-State Team and being a Mr. Basketball finalist.
Farmers Union Insurance agent Chad Harrington presented Dane Hagler the Midco Sports Class B Boys Player of the year award. Congratulations Dane!
First graders celebrated Earth Day by picking up garbage around town and planting seeds. Happy Earth Day! 🌎
A few of our honor society members attended the state leadership conference earlier this week. We had a great time listening to speakers and other delegates and are looking forward to bringing some new ideas back to our chapter. North Star was also awarded the ND National Honor Society Alzheimer's Awareness Award for the largest service project donation. Thank you for your continued support with our service projects!
Due to the power outage affecting most of the area, North Star School will not be able to continue our school day. We will be closing at 9:45, and all students will be released at that time. Busses WILL run at 10:00. We will still send our teams to their games when they are scheduled to leave. The home baseball game scheduled for today is still on. For obvious reasons, there will be no after school child care.
North Star School is experiencing technical difficulties with power. We are waiting for word from the power company as to how long the fix will take . We will make a call as to whether we can have school in the next 45 minutes. Please stay tuned for further information.
