Ecology students had a great time on their field trip to Audubon National Wildlife Refuge and the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery. We had a chance to do some hiking, bird watching, and learn about stocking fish in ND.

Congratulations Hunter H for qualifying for the State Track Meet in Long Jump. Hunter jumped 20'11.75" on Saturday in Bottineau!
On Thursday, the third grade was able to attend a hospital tour at TCMC. They learned more about the brain, spine, and digestive system. They were able to see the x-ray room and learn how x-rays work. They were also able to see the CT machine.

JH Art/STEM class made toothpick bridges and attempted Pringles rings. Miles and Danika's bridge held 315 pounds! Kole and Anna had the best pringles ring.
Reuben qualified for the State Track meet in the shot put. He threw 47 feet (school record) at the Stanley Blue Jay Meet. He also set the school record in the javelin with a throw of 144 feet 3 inches. Congratulations!
Mr. Vote received a knife with the Homeland Security Logo on it as a thank you from the Border Patrol. He helped them with a formula in their excel spreadsheet that they use for funding purposes. Border Patrol Agent Puppe said it will save them countless hours.
We had a great time in Bismarck at the state honor society conference! Alliana sang the national anthem and presented our scrapbook with our chapter's achievements from the past year and Bryce helped run many aspects of the conference as the state vice president.
