7th graders learning all about small appliances last week made some delicious orange juliuses with the blenders and Cultures and Cuisine gave it a go with guacamole that may have gotten a little too spicy! 🌶️🥑
Reminder to Parents that there will be an influenza vaccine clinic at the school for anyone tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16. Please find the form that kids took home to fill out and return with your child if you would like your child to have the vaccine here at school. If you need a copy of the form, there are additional copies in the office. For any questions about the influenza vaccine, please call Public Health at 968-4353 to visit with a nurse.

North Star Students have been participating in the NDSU Chorus Festival in Fargo the past few days. The concert will be live-streamed at www.ndsu.edu/performingarts/music/stream/ starting at 4:30.
Our Elementary Music Department is putting on a fundraiser through Donors Choose. We are raising money to receive new Ukulele method books, Rhythm sticks, and other important equipment for our classes. Elementary Boys Basketball will start on October 7th. The first practice will be at 5:45-7:15 at the North Star High School gym.
FIRST Lego League will meet Tuesday (3:30 - 5 p.m.) and Friday 3:15 - 5 p.m. in the high school shop classroom. Team members should plan to attend one practice, but may attend both if they like. Thanks!
