-Congratulations to Elle N for placing 4th at the state golf tournament and earning All State Honors.
-Congratulations to the VB teams for their wins yesterday.
-FB at Fort Totten on Friday at 7:00 PM. That bus will leave at 4:15 PM.
-Junior Class candy bar money should be turned in by Friday.
-JH VB tournament in Rolla on Saturday. That bus will leave at 7:40 AM
-The Cando Arts Council is planning to start up the Art Club sometime in October. Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Please sign up in the school office by today if you are interested in attending these classes.
-On Wednesday October 12th there is a 2-Person Sidewalk Art Contest. For students grades K-12Entry Fee is $10 a person/$20 per team. Drawing will be completed between 10:00 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. the day of contest (yes that is on school time). Each team will have 45 minutes or less to complete their artwork and are required to complete project on a specific assigned sidewalk square in Cando. Prizes awarded for best drawing and most creative drawing. Pre-registration is required-- registration deadline is Monday Oct. 10th. In case of rain-- event will take place on Monday October 17th. Start getting your 2 person teams together. Proceeds from this event will go to the Park Board to help fund the Cando Pool deck renovation project. -NDSU Choir Festival is on Sunday and Monday. They will leave at 9:00 AM on Sunday.
-Pre-School will begin on Monday.
-Play practice tomorrow at 8:00 AM on the stage. Act I scenes 2 and 3.
-There will be high school robotics meeting today during Bearcat period in room 106. New members welcomed.
-First Lego League will meet on Mondays and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM beginning Monday October 3rd in room 106. Lego Robotics is open to students in grades 4-8. Registration information will be sent home this week. Any questions contact Mrs. Ramey.
