-Congratulations to the FB team for their win on Friday night.
-Congratulations to the VB team for placing 2nd at the Devils Lake Tournament on Saturday and to the JV VB for their wins on Saturday in Langdon.
-The North Star PTO is doing a Pink Out Fundraiser. They are selling Pink Out T-shirts to wear to volleyball games in the month of October. The shirts are $15.00 each and there is a sign-up sheet for ordering them in the main office. Orders are due today.
-Junior Class candy bar money should be turned in by Friday.
-Lion Heart Presentations at the Audi today during the following times: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (6-9); 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (10-12); and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (K-5).
-JH FB today vs North Prairie at 4:30 PM.
-State golf begins today in Minot. Good luck to Elle.
-VB at Lakota tomorrow with four matches (JH,C,B,A) starting at 4:00 PM. First bus leaves at 2:15 PM and second bus at 3:00 PM.
-FB at Fort Totten on Friday at 7:00 PM. That bus will leave at 4:15 PM.
-JH VB tournament in Rolla on Saturday. That bus will leave at 7:40 AM
-ALIVE will start on October 5th at 6:30 PM with a Pizza Party for adults and students. ALIVE formally known as AWANA will run Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and is for students in grades PK-6.
-The Cando Arts Council is planning to start up the Art Club sometime in October. Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Please sign up in the school office by Wednesday if you are interested in attending these classes.
-Students should not be letting people in locked school doors.
-Reminder that the school playground is not supervised on non-school days and after 3:30 PM on the days of school.
-Candy Bars are now $2.00 in the vending machine. Drinks will go to $2.50 on December1st.
