-Congratulations to the VB team for their win last night.
-FB vs New Rockford tonight at 7:00 PM. There will be concessions, there will not be a crow’s nest, and there will be limited bleachers. Also, the game will not be on the NFHS Network as the camera has been taken down.
-JV Volleyball in Langdon tomorrow and V Volleyball in Devils Lake tomorrow. The JV bus will leave at 8:10 AM and the varsity bus will leave at 7:20 AM.
-The North Star PTO is doing a Pink Out Fundraiser. They are selling Pink Out T-shirts to wear to volleyball games in the month of October. The shirts are $15.00 each and there is a sign-up sheet for ordering them in the main office. Orders are due September 26th.
-Junior Class candy bar money should be turned in by September 30.
-First grade check of the year will be today at 1:00 PM. Anyone failing a class will be ineligible from Monday to Sunday weekly until passing all classes.
-Lion Heart Presentations at the Audi on Monday during the following times: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (6-9); 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (10-12); and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (K-5).
-JH FB here on Monday vs North Prairie at 4:30 PM.
-State golf begins on Monday in Minot. Good luck to Elle.
-ALIVE will start on October 5th at 6:30 PM with a Pizza Party for adults and students. ALIVE formally known as AWANA will run Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and is for students in grades PK-6.
-The Cando Arts Council is planning to start up the Art Club sometime in October. Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Please sign up in the school office by September 28th if you are interested in attending these classes.
-Students should not be letting people in locked school doors.
-Reminder that the school playground is not supervised on non-school days and after 3:30 PM on the days of school.
