-Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
-We would like to welcome our new students to North Star, please make them feel welcome.
-We would also like to welcome Ms. Miller, Ms. Rosinski, Christina Moe, and Mrs. Lovgren to our staff.
-Thank you to Wendy, Laruen, Connie and Danielle for making the school look great.
-Thank you to Mrs. Ramey for getting a lot of the data imported into Infinite Campus. She has done a great job!
-Remember that the gym is being utilized all day, so please do not use it as a hallway. If there is an emergency, please walk along the bleachers.
-JH/HS students will be going over the handbook today
1st period: 7th grade in room 103
2nd period: Seniors in room 103
3rd period: 8th grade in room 103
5th period: Sophomores in room 104
6th period: Juniors in room 103
7th period: Freshman in room 111
-9th -12th grade students have until Tuesday, August 25, 2026 to add or drop a course.
-9th – 12th grade students have open campus. Please let your first hour teacher know whether you will be eating lunch. Remember you are allowed to walk, not drive or ride in a car with anyone other than your parents. You must take care of any ordering of food before the school starts each day.
-Reminder cell phones and smart watches must be off and stowed away from 8:35 AM – 3:26 PM.
-Football team will be at St John on Thursday, August 20th at 7:00 PM. The bus will leave at 4:40 PM.
-Congratulations to Blakely H for placing 6th and Lia P for tying for 10th at the Hatton/Northwood Golf Meet yesterday. Girls Golf Meet in Cando on Friday at 9:00 AM. Remember to turn red slips into Mrs. Reiser by noon on Thursday.
-Student Council will have a meeting on August 27 at 8:00 AM.
