Notice is hereby given that on TUESDAY, June 9thth, 2026, North Star Public School District #10 will hold its annual school board election for the purpose of electing two board members. The polls will open at 8:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM on that day at the Cando Armory (408 5th Ave, Cando, ND) the designated polling place.
Open board positions are: one three-year term for Area 1: Former Southern School District (Cando), and one three-year term for Area 2: Former Bisbee-Egeland School District. Candidates have filed for both open positions; write-in candidates are also allowed.
Voters must provide an acceptable form of identification that includes the voter’s name, residential address, and date of birth. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid ND drivers’ license or non-driver’s ID card (issued by the ND Department of Transportation), tribal government issued ID card, or long-term care ID certificate (provided by ND facility).
