Thursday, February 26, 2026 Day #120 (B)
-Juniors will take the ASVAB test today at 8:40 AM in room 111. Seniors please go to room 111 and get your iPads before the test starts.
-FRC make-up time if you have missed meetings. Come down to the shop after you finish lunch, and/or Bearcat period until 4:00 PM to get caught up. Next regular meeting is today from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM at the high school shop.
-BBB team will play Nelson County at 4:30 PM tomorrow in the District Tournament at Langdon. Players will leave at 2:00 PM (dismissed at 1:45 PM). Students wanting to go to the game will be allowed to leave at 2:30 PM with a note or phone call from your parents. The District Tournament will continue on Monday and Tuesday.
-With the Boys District Tournament starting we just want to remind everyone about good sportsmanship. We want everyone to be at the games, cheering loud in a positive manner, and most importantly humble in victory and gracious in defeat. Things we want to avoid include standing on the playing floor, yelling during free throws, incorrect countdown, and singling out players from the other team. You may see other schools doing some of these things but that is other schools. If you have to think about whether it is good sportsmanship or not, it is not. Go Bearcats!
-Makers Night for high school freshman to retirees sponsored by the Cando Arts Council is tonight from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Join them for an evening of crafting chaos. Bring whatever your passion may be! (sewing, knitting, drawing, painting, etc.).
-Professional Development for teachers on March 4th. School will start at 10:00 AM for students. Doors will open at 9:40 AM.
-Book Fair will be on March 5th from 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM in the lunchroom.
-Reminder registration forms are due by March 2nd for any 4th – 6th grade interested in Lil Cats Elementary VB.
