Tuesday, February 24, 2026 Day #118 (B)
-Juniors will take the ASVAB test on Thursday, February 26 at 8:40 AM in room 111.
-Sophomores will have CPR/AED/First Aid Training today in the band room from 8:40 AM – 12:00 PM and tomorrow from 12:30 PM – 3: 30 PM.
-There will be a short VB meeting for girls in 7th – 11th grade in the library today during Bearcat Period. If you are interested in playing or helping with stats please attend this meeting.
-Lego League shop cleanup today from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM.
-FRC make-up time if you have missed meetings. Come down to the shop after you finish lunch, and/or Bearcat period until 4:00 PM to get caught up. Next regular meeting is Thursday from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM at the high school shop.
-SADD Meeting on Thursday at 8:00 AM.
-BBB team will play Nelson County at 4:30 PM on Friday, February 27 at the District Tournament in Langdon. Players will leave at 2:00 PM (dismissed at 1:45 PM). Students wanting to go to the game will be allowed to leave at 2:30 PM with a note or phone call from your parents
-Makers Night for high school freshman to retirees sponsored by the Cando Arts Council on February 26 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Join them for an evening of crafting chaos. Bring whatever your passion may be! (sewing, knitting, drawing, painting, etc.).
-Professional Development for teachers on March 4th. School will start at 10:00 AM for students. Doors will open at 9:40 AM.
-Book Fair will be on March 5 from 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM in the lunchroom.
-Final medal counts are on the bulletin board on the way to the lunchroom. Our top three teams were USA (33), Italy (30), and Germany (26). Norway had the most medals in the 2026 Olympics (41)
