-72 Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade Students had perfect attendance the first quarter. This means students did not miss a day except for school activities and they were not tardy to any classes.
-Picture retake day is October 30th. Pictures will start at 8:00 AM and end at approximately 11:00 AM.
-No FIRST Lego League on Thursday.
-Red Ribbon Week (Life is a Puzzle, Live Drug Free) is this week.
Monday: RED-y to Kick Off a Drug Free Week. Fruit Snacks will be sold - $0.25/two if you are wearing red and $0.50/two if you are not.
Tuesday: Follow Your Dreams and Put Drugs to Sleep – Wear Pajamas. K-12 Puzzle Night from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the lunchroom. Pizza will be served.
Wednesday: Team Up Against Drugs – Wear Your Favorite Sports Team Jersey.7th – 12th grade will play lightning during Bearcat Period.
Thursday: Bearcats Are Drug Free – Wear School Colors. K-3rd Grade will have Bingo.
Friday: Scare Away Drugs – Wear Halloween Costume (Elementary will get dressed into costume when the teacher allows).
-PWBBB in Cando vs. Rolla on Tuesday, October 28 at 4:30 PM. Games are at the Armory.
-7-12 Character Strong is Tuesday during 5th period (12:52 PM)
-Wallwork Truck Center Presentation for Juniors and Seniors on Tuesday during period 5 in the Band Room.
-Data Meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 AM.
-Volleyball team will play Nelson County the second game of the District Tournament on Thursday, October 30. This game will take place at approximately 4:30 PM. Students wanting to go to the game will be allowed to leave at 2:30 PM (without being counted absent) if we have a call/note from your parents. Fans are to use doors 1 and 4 to enter. Fans that want to stand during the game must stand on the first row of bleachers not on the floor.
-PWBBB in Cando vs. Rugby on Thursday, October 30 at 4:30 PM in the North Star Gym.
-PWBBB Jamboree at North Star Gym on Saturday. The list of workers in on the office window, please check to see what time you are scheduled to work.
-Popcorn will be sold in the lobby during lunch on Friday. Proceeds go to students attending the Europe Trip.
-9th-12th Grade Teachers please remember to take lunch count.
