Monday, March 10, 2025                                                                            Day #133 (B)

Good Morning Bearcats!  Today is a B Day.

Congratulations to Hunter Hagler on being named to the All-District boys basketball team.  Way to go, Hunter.

Congratulations to Ben Berg for a great hockey season with the Langdon Blades.  Not only did the team finish 3rd at state hockey, but Ben was selected to participate in the Dallas Stars National High School Showcase.  This showcase will host top-level state and regional high school teams from around the country.  This event takes place April 11-13 in Dallas, Texas.

Congratulations to Cami Walters and Maxine Austria for their first place finish Qualifying them for STATE in Humorous Duo over the weekend.  Congratulations also goes to Madison Howard for 7th in Serious, Neela Doehler for 5th place in EPR, Tegan Colton, 7th place in Poetry, Kendra Svir and Madons Howard for 2nd place in Serious Duo, Cami Walters and Tegan Colton for 6th place in Serious Duo, and Kinley Demontigny for 7th place in Inform.

Prom time is here!  All 9-12 grade students are cordially invited to attend prom 2025.  Prom sign-up is in the office with a cost of $35 for a couple and $20 for a single.  ONLY Juniors and Seniors are allowed to attend prom as a single.  Out of town guests are also welcome, but they should have a form to attend.  Those forms can be picked up from Tammie in the office and are due back to Tammie as soon as possible.  Remember, please, that eligibility guidelines apply in order to attend prom!

If you are interested in Track at North Star, please be sure that you have a physical form on file in the office.  If you need a physical for track, please be sure to pick up a form in the office from Tammie.  If you participated in another sport this year, that physical form is good for track as well, and you do NOT need a new physical form filled out.  All athletes MUST have a form on file to practice.  Thanks!

Reminder to HS students.  If you are leaving the building for appointments or for anything out of the ordinary during the school day, please remember to sign out in the office.  This helps with daily attendance that we must report to the state.  Also a reminder that you DO need parent permission to leave…don’t forget to have your parents contact Tammie in the office if you’ll be gone!
