Good Morning Bearcats! Today is an A Day.
Just a reminder for FCCLA and SADD members, PLEASE bring your shirts or wear them to school on Wednesday, January 29 for yearbook pictures. Pictures will be during 3rd and 4th hour, and you will be called when to come.
If you’re a student in grades 7-12 interested in tutoring an elementary student, peer tutoring could be for you. This is a great leadership opportunity and a chance for you to offer help to younger students. If you’re interested in teaching or in helping kids learn, then get an application outside of the office on the table by the phone. Applications should be returned to Mr. Grande or Mr. Nygaard by January 31. Interviews will follow.
Reminder to HS students. If you are leaving the building for appointments or for anything out of the ordinary during the school day, please remember to sign out in the office. This helps with daily attendance that we must report to the state.
All student Reminder: When we are at a school, any school, for a sporting event as spectators, we are to be present at the event, watching the games and supporting our team, and NOT roaming the halls. In addition, we are to be positive in our support of our team and not disruptive to the event. The stomping on the bleachers that was going on in the game on Friday should never be something that we're doing, even if the other side does that. We are North Star Bearcats, and, at North Star, we believe in being responsible, respectful, considerate and perseverant in our pursuit of personal and academic excellence.
