North Star School High School Drama Club generally plans and performs two productions during the school year and helps with the Summer Children's Musical sponsored by the Cando Arts Council. Students grades 7-12 are encouraged to join.

All students grades 7-8 participate in choir, where they learn fundamentals of music, theory and singing in small and large group settings. Jr. High Band is an elective open to students in grades 7-8. The Junior High Band and Choir have a Christmas and Spring concert scheduled each year.

High School Band and Choir are electives open to students in grades 9-12. Students further their knowledge of vocal and instrumental music and continue to expand their skills in solo, small group and large group settings. High School Band and Choir members host Christmas and Spring concerts and have the opportunity to compete at district and state music competitions.
